Not terrible. A Facebook friend recommended this book, and I get the feeling she had met the author. Or, she's trying to drum up support for an independent writer. I think I understand (from the afterword) that Mrs. Nowak was able to self-publish on kindle. I salute her effort.
Having said that, the book is a little on the Twilight-y side. It's not bad, and certainly Felicity has a great deal more gumption than Bella Swan. Of course, so do most doormats, but I don't wish to be unkind. I believe there are going to be three three book trilogies, making for 9 books in all.
While I enjoy getting to know characters, and the characters actually get a chance to develop here, unlike some other series I could name (lookin' at you, Anita Blake), it seems to be taking a LONG TIME to pay off. I suspect that it will take all three books in the first trilogy to pay off the first story.
Ah well. I didn't have much else to do anyway.

I don't care if he's gay. I don't care if he has met his soulmate, Gary. I don't even care if he routinely gets assaulted by raccoons taking out the trash.
This book is hilarious. It's one of the funniest things I've read this year, and certainly the most enjoyable memoir I've ever read.
Wade, in seeking to reconnect with his life, both succeeds and fails in equally hilarious measure. We should all be so lucky.

For on the go, I love ebooks. Plus, I can carry dozens of ebooks at the time, and I never have to worry if I want to change books in the middle of the stream, so to speak. Lamb was the first book I bought for my kindle. What with one thing and another, it was the 15th copy of Lamb that I bought. (All of my friends thank you too!) Frankly, it was self-defense so I could finally keep one. I was very relieved when the collectors edition came out. (I bought one of those and gave it to Mom. She's a huge fan too.)
