          <body><![CDATA[Nathalie,<br/>You ask a very good question. The main characters all had serious flaws that left them less than lovable. They all seemed too centered on themselves and inflexible, which led them to their ultimate fates. The parents of Shalimar and Boonyi and some of their fellow townspeople were quite another story and I really felt badly for them when things would take a bad turn.]]></body>
