the first book of Sookie Stackhouse Series. The characters could use more depth but then again their ok the way they are. The story was focused on the murders of several 'fang-bangers' and a family member of Sookies. In the end alls well in Bon Temps or so it seems on the outside.

I would recommend this book for an easy read, nothing too demanding of time or attention.
