This book was definately better than the first. I was secretly hoping I WOULDN'T like it because I will no doubtedly be made fun of for finding yet another great vampire series. I blame this one on my roomate. This is not your typical vampire novel however. You may forget you are reading one due to the huge differences in Richelle's world. Must say I am hooked though. My roomate told me to read this since she knows how much I love Sookie Stackhouse & Twilight books. It definately falls into the young adult category. Very angsty but a lot more edgy as well.
