I don't know how I missed your question, but I think Mary did a good job of answering. The trouble is the line between Urban Fantasy, or Paranormal Romance. They're usually both set in a modern day setting, but one is more about the main character finding love (or sex) - which I think the LKH Anita Blake/Merry Gentry series now fall into, and the other is more about the main character fighting the bad guy/girl/situation - like Jim Butcher's Harry Dresden series. I've heard great things about the book, and maybe reading it is better than listening to it. I felt by listening to it, I was getting way more of Meggi's voice than I wanted, but reading it might not feel the same way. Not sure that I want to try though - maybe I'll read the second one and compare. ]]>
