Although I have to admit, I only saw the movie version, and based on that, I've personally watched things like that happen first hand through out my life. I get the impression from some of Augusten Burroughs' other writings that the book was a bit more harsher than the movie, but I'm aware that things like that happen ALL THE TIME.

Not too much. Mostly plants." Okay, I'm all about that. Of course, I'd encourage as many people to change the third statement to "All plants". but hey, no one ever listens to me any way! "Mostly plants" is a good start! This book is not for me, but it will probably do a world of good for nearly every one else in this country.
