I liked this book and would rate it a 3.5 if possible. I enjoyed her journey and was happy she found her way at the end. Most of the recipes were not up my alley but I do want to try the apple tart.

The Smitten Kitchen Cookbook by Deb Perelman
I love this cookbook and read it like a novel in one evening. I love the little blurbs at the beginning of each recipe and the photography is gorgeous.

The Kitchen Counter Cooking School by Kathleen Flinn
I liked this book. The only part I didn't love was the beginning when she was describing the volunteers. I liked when they got into the lessons and learned.
