My son and daughter love this book. Ruby wants to throw a party for grandma but Max doesn't like ruby's guest list. While Ruby is getting more chairs Max puts all of his toys in the seats. Grandma likes all of the uninvited guests.

This is a great book especially for a multicultural classroom. I would recommend it for 1st- 9th grade. It is the story of a very honest ranch hand who cannot tell a lie. Even when he is tricked he tells the truth, and he ends up coming out on top.

I would recommend this book for 3rd - 7th grade. It is easy to read and very informational. It tells of the artist's life and work. It also showcases' her paintings.
