bookshelves: fiction, history
Having realized I have never read a book about the Salem witch trials (aside from The Crucible, which was a school book report), I decided this would be a good choice.I like the fact that the author is a descendant of the main character, Martha Carrier. She does a great job at interweaving her family history with a fictional storyline which pays homage to what her ancestors went through. I look forward to the prequel! ]]>
