This book was okay in my mind, but could've been really good. Great idea, but kind of uneven in plot, voice and character development. Jumping around between Fitzgerald, von Stuhlen, Victoria and Alice was distracting. Might have been less so to focus on one of them or make it more clear who was narrating a given chapter. Georgianna could've been a fascinating character, yet she was flat. Victoria's royal absurdity comes through, but its hard to know whether to sympathize or vilify her. Fitzgerald also, flat, but I wanted to know more.
