I decided to re-read these books by Mercedes Lackey. I throughly enjoyed reading this book again. It's been so long since I read it, it was like meeting old friends. I read the book at a leisurely pace. The story begins with old enduring enemies trying to make a pact against a common super enemy. Although this book is part of an overall series, it stands well on its own if you've never read the other books.
