<about>I am a new author. I just wrote a novel called "The Judas Apocalypse", published through I Publish Press. I also compose music and play in a band here in Ottawa. I work as an editor for a local television station for the 6 o'clock news. If the writing thing works out, I may be editing my own stories instead of the news.</about>

Think you know the Beach Boys? You don't. Read this and be stunned. I got this for a Christmas present about twenty years ago and I could not put it down. As a Beach Boy fan, and as a music fan in general, I was always amazed at the complexity of Brian Wilson's compositions and harmony structures, but how he was able to produce such musical masterpieces with the adverse conditions he was surrounded with is nothing short of a miracle. This book is a must read for not only Beach Boy fans but fans of that genre as well. Anybody out there have a copy of "Smile"? Find out why you're lucky you do.

This is the first book I ever read that made me laugh out loud. I remember reading it in high school, and as an old movie buff, I could almost hear the anecdotes in Niven's voice. I think I've read this book (easily) over a dozen times and every single time, it was as if I was reading it for the first time. A truly enjoyable experience.
