Hey Dan,

You know, mythologizing is a good word. A lot of time Krakuer took to spend on Tillman's early, formative years was interesting. The ending though, with Krakauer's unironic take on the Ubermensch personality, killed it for me. Nietzsche was ironically speaking off the Superman in Thus Spake Zarathustra. Krakauer missed this and ended up overblowing his whole subject. In that, it is ironic that Krakauer spurs the Bush Administration for using Pat as a propaganda tool....
