    <about><![CDATA[I'm a 25 year old grad student getting my degree in psychology.<br/><br/>For me to enjoy a book, it generally has to either be set in a different time period, a different culture, or both.  Barring a very few exceptions, novels set in 21st century North America bore the living daylights out of me.  I read to learn about things I could never experience myself; I don't have much interest in reading stories I could go out and live.]]></about>
