I'm not normally in the habit of reading non-fiction. No real reason, it's just not my preference. I thought this book was great though -- made me think twice about what I do, how I tip and how my husband and I act in restaurants.

If I could, I would give this book 3.5 stars, but I can't, so I rounded up. This Is Where I Leave You was darkly comedic and I loved the characters. The problem, though, was that Tropper set up his scenes as though he's just waiting for the book to be optioned for the screen. Everything just seemed a little too well-choreographed to be wholly believable. (And the funny thing is, I would LOVE this movie -- but I am not entirely wild about reading it.)
