Not very deep, but a good thriller. Some good themes and moves quickly. Overall, an easy quick read.

This is a cult classic. Its dark humor give insights to the way people act when they have nothing left to lose. The characters in it go out of their way to break themselves down to nothing just so they feel empowered to do whatever they want. The result is anarchy, but that is not the final answer or the theme to the novel. This is sort of a criticism of the modern man's way of thinking.

This book is amazingly written in a "stream of consciousness" style. The plot revolves around three college students and their attractions between each other. It is confusing at times because all of the characters view the same situations so differently. That also is what makes the book so great because we truly never do know what another person is thinking. It is very dark in moments, but overall a great book.

I rarely read non fiction anymore, but I was tired of people quoting this and not having read it. I ended up reading it twice because it was so insightful. The way Lewis views life and God is truly remarkable. I gained lot of new perspectives after reading this. This is a great read for non Christians as well because it is a ground up description of why Christians believe what they believe. A good read for anyone who wonders about life.

This is my favorite book of all time. The social commentary alone would take pages to fully describe. At first glance it seems to be a basic super hero story, but in reality the book uncovers truths about people and society. It shows how people react under the pressures of fear and the dark reality of how the world is not divided into "rights and wrongs". This is a book you have to read more than once to pick up on all of the details.
