I am enjoying so far. It's different to be sure, but I have never read an Irving book I didn't love. He is a beautiful, masterful writer. I say read it anyway. I am only on page 138 and it's a sad read, also not a story I would normally find interesting as it begins with 'loggers' but I actually am very interested.
I don't know about you, but sometimes with my favorite writers, even if I dislike a story, I am still able to enjoy based on their writing. But so far, I like this one! ]]>

This is a fabulous sequel by Stoker's grand nephew! I had my doubts when I bought it, but was not disappointed! The tie between Elizabeth Bathory and Jack the Ripper was clever and catching up on Mina and her band of vampire destroyers was interesting.Stoker did a good job using historical events to explain everything and having Bram Stoker as a character in the novel was somewhat of an overdue tribute to the writer! I don't want to write a lot and give away any of the story, I will say I highly recommend it! ]]>
