although it was a short book- it didn't grab my attention or keep me hooked. A bit depressing, which I knew going into it; however, it was one of those I felt I needed to read in my lifetime.
Definitely a girl book- sappy and predictable. Fast paced with a Nicholas Sparks feel.
This was my first James Patterson book, I guess it was successful in turning me into reading more of his books.

annoyed.
no character development.
moved at the pace of a snail. TOOK ME FOREVER to read and I even skimmed in a few chapters.
The "twist" at the end was so ridiculous that is was almost laugh out stupid.
I picked it up because it appeared to resemble a good CSI episode- but I was totally disappointed.
Did this only get published because the author's husband is film director Steven Souderbergh???

Over the top at times...comical...but yet very belieavable. I felt this book related to the TV show Friends.... lovable characters that had a litle bit of me and people I know in them.
For me the most riveting chapter was the chapter when the neighbor died. Even though it was a real quick side story- I thought it was told in a very honest way.
I love Tropper..... I am excited that a new one (and the only I haven't read yet) just came out...
