Read this book on the recommendation of my daughter Amy Ash. The author Elie Wiesel (a deserving nobel Peace Prize recipient) recalls his life as a 15 year old surviving the Holocaust. Its sad that she wrote this book before it was confirmed that John's affair led to a baby. Elizabeth did a good job of not dishing John as much as she could have. I am sure that her attitude has since changed. It was not a particularly well written book.
