I liked this book. It gave a brief overview of many different legal cases throughout the history of the U.S. Every once in a while, he would go off on an anti-religious right wing tirade, and those should have been left out of the book. But those are a smallish portion of the book and can be trudged through....less

Very entertaining book. It's kind of a shame sherpas and guides and willing to tote people up the mountain, but at the same time I can see why all the parties involved do it. Everest is one place I would like to visit after I get wealthy and start traveling the world. I can't decide if I think it is worth climbing, but even going to base camp would be a pretty stellar experience....less
