Honestly, after all the rave reviews I read about this book, I was extremely disappointed. The character development seemed rushed and not thoroughly supported, nor was Moore's take on vampires particularly inspiring, especially in comparison to other recent series depicting vampires as more "human" and less monstrous. I probably won't pick up another of his novels. ]]>
