This book was a hard one for me to get through because of the things i was going through at the time. But I absolutely do not regret it, and I could say it ended up making me stronger. The ending made the book and I loved this book. I do not like all the slamming the book has been getting compared to white oleader. Josie and astrid are two completely different characters. In no way do I really find their personalities and minds alike. I did like the White oleander storyline better, but this book became apart of my life.
So it did have alot of meaning to it for me! I felt like I was josie and feeling her pain, This novel was written so beautifully.
