about this author
Katie Parker is the author of the LDS novel Just the Way You Are, a humorous and touching book with a quirky cast of characters. Her work has also appeared in the New Era, Irreantum, and Westview. She has also written a number of standardized test questions. (Did we mention she holds a secondary school teaching license?) She also works on the “other side” as a freelance editor.
Originally from Oklahoma, Katie and her family lived in Utah for nine years before moving to their current home in Wisconsin. She misses the mountains, but is learning that Wisconsin is a pretty neat place, too. Especially if you can stay inside during the winter.
