This was a super fast read...and I liked that it was written from a different perspective than most crime fiction/mysteries I've read. I liked learning about Sybilla's past, and I wish there was a bit more of that.

I was originally leaning towards 2 stars because I questioned the plausibility of the premise...however, I finally went with 3 once I decided I didn't know enough about the Swedish criminal justice system to make a critical judgment. :)

Hmmm...I kept going back and forth between 4 and 5 stars. Probably a 4.75, so I ended up choosing 5. :) I liked this "Paige" book much more than Dime Store Magic. This one had a lot of Elena and Clay face time, so that likely added to my enjoyment! Big disappointment. The first 90 pages were terrifying (I can do vampires, zombies, witches, etc. I don't do ghosts). After that 90 page mark, though, not so scary. Also, not so good. The book was about 100 pages too long...and the story just lost me once Jude and Georgia hit the road and turned into a giant plot cliche. Hmm...maybe 3.5. It was definitely better than the first book, but like the first, I don't know that I would have enjoyed it if it took place anywhere other than Disney. Story is not the strong point...it's all the Disney stuff that draws me in. But, I'm enough of a Disney nut to continue the series.
