Vanessa is on page 109 of Quattrocentro: So far, it's just confusing. The story has no flow, no concrete narrative. It's just hunks of things that happen with no explanation, no transition. He writes lovely visual descriptions, but the dialog is disjointed and confusing and so is the plot. And yet I keep reading because I'm an art history geek. And because I want it to get better.
