Susan Meissner really captured me from the get go. I'm on page 60 and am hooked. I love the dichotomy of the characters, the world she's built is 100% sound, and eerie for this time of year.
Like The Twelfth Gift, the dual setting from past to present is haunting. Look forward to seeing how it works out.
