1299496 I originally read the Russian literature in the early 1980's as background education for my job with the US Navy.

I found them very entertaining but, very fatalistic. I was going to say pessimistic but, they may go even further than that. Either way, I try to keep my attitude a little more upbeat - life is too short. ;-)
