I can't believe I almost passed up this book because it was a "Teen" read. This book was fabulous!! I finished it in two days, I read it every chance I got. I am running out to the store to get the second one, in hopes it will be as enjoyable as the first. I don't know if this story in like any other, but I sure have never read a book like this before. The story was amazing and fresh and I just can't say enough. My only fear is that their wont be a third!!! ]]>
I really want to like Tana French, but this is the second time she let me down. She has SO much potential. Her actual story concepts are awesome and her writing is engrossing and well done, however she always starts losing me around the middle of the book...it starts to get way to slow and I find myself wondering...if anything is going to actually happen. I don't know, like I said, I want to like her writing but this is the second time I felt that she just gave up or something. This book, not unlike her first, could have been really good if she just knew how to end it and how to keep up the pace in the middle. ]]>
