<about>I'm an ESL teacher and former editor/pr hack, though you wouldn't know it from my postings. About my reading selections, my friends always say "Where do you find these things?", but I don't think my choices are all that odd.

Likes: comedy of manners, coming of age novels, narrative non-fiction, but mostly writing that makes me want to read something I have absolutely no interest in -- like Cod (by Marc Kurlansky).

Hate star rating systems. Word of caution. The star rating is not necessarily that the book is great but that I got a kick reading it. </about>
