This book is hilarious - be prepared to laugh out loud and embarrass yourself if you're public while reading it. Beyond that, I actually learned quite a bit about the Bible and various religions' interpretations of it from reading this book. It reminds me somewhat of the documentary Religulous, but I think the author generally does a good job of refraining from unnecessary judgment of people's beliefs and rather tries to respect our differences.

Two funny situations:
* The author cannot sit on anything his wife has sat on while menstrating (per the Bible), so she sits on EVERYTHING in the house to piss him off.
* The Bible says you should stone people, but the author has a hard time doing this. So he decides to "pebble" someone instead, but even then, has a hard time with the altercation.
