<about>I am a perpetual student living near Philadelphia. I read way too much and wish that could be my full-time job. Don't hold it against me that I have read over 100 Star Wars books; I have an addiction, I should probably go to meetings. Books and TV shows are my two favorite things. I actually like Fantasy when I'm reading books(except for SW) and Sci-Fi when I'm watching TV. My favorite shows: Battlestar Galactica, The X-Files, Firefly, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. On the flip side of that, I love reading classic literature. I'm very picky about the books I read, I despise bad grammar and writing that makes me feel like my IQ gets lower just by reading a chapter. So really, I'm a geek, but I'm totally proud of it. </about>

This was my first novel by William Faulkner. At first I resented it. I had to read this for my Modern American Fiction class, and after reading just the first two pages I realized what a daunting and impossible read it was going to be. And then, something changed.
