At the end of the book, he tells the story of searching for weapons that members of the French resistance had hidden in a cave. He has to crawl through certain tight spots and at one point he sees what he thinks is a map left by soldiers to lead the way to the weapons. It's actually a figure of a bison. He is in Lascaux. Now that's an amazing life...(less) "
