This book has a little bit of everything I love it it, and proves why I LOVE YA literature. When I first bought Beautiful Creatures, I joked about how big it was for a YA, but I loved every minute of it. I can't think of a single part that I would edit down or a single character I would take out. I love Lena and Ethan, and I love their relationship. The book gave back story without dwelling too much in the past, which I was thankful for. All in all, Beautiful Creatures was a FANTASTIC read and I can't wait to read other works by Margaret and Kami in the future.

Plus, I forgot to mention the setting of this novel: Gatlin, South Carolina. It couldn't have been more like my home town growing up.
