I'm totally w/you on that 1 Rob! Not sure what era you grew up in but when I was a kid, you were gone from getting home after school & during the summer till it was dinner. And if you were really lucky, you could stay out during the summer till late. Like 11 or Midnight.... Now, a lot of kids stay inside & have developed Juvenile Diabetes.. CAN you imagine commercials, telling kids they have to go outside at least an hour a day.... I don't get it ???

I know you are right about the reading & the writing... And I am starting to believe that some writers out there spend their reading time reading How To Write A Novel or Play & Get It Published... As for King... I wouldn't be surprised if the Man read the bible once, all the way thru... He Is A Reader Lover................ :)
As for UTD, if it's as big as the uncut 'Stand' paperback... It'll be heavy but it will be as big as the Hardcover... Easier to maneuver w/your fingers... It's what I believe will be published

Perhaps this reader has led a sheltered life. This was my 1st experience w/ R.J. Jensen & I just Loved it. Rather a mindbending tale, completely screwed-up at times BUT no waiting around for something to happen. Well written IMO and w/only some flaws.
