I really enjoyed both Wanderlust and Bolo!, and quite liked Aaron's Wait, although I couldn't quite get into it. However, I really wish I'd read Chocky instead of Capitol Games, as was my original intention. My goodness, that was bad!

I enjoyed this book even more than the first in the series, perhaps because of the continued growth of the characters, particularly Jax, and the relationships that kept developing. I loved the (very different!) friendships that Jax has developed with Vel and Dina. Jax herself becomes more interesting and rounded with every little detail we learn about her, and she seems to finally be accepting that she can get over her addiction to grimspace, rather than wanting to eventually give in to it. Then of course there's her terribly dysfunctional romance with March - I like that two broken people haven't been able to easily fix each other (yet, at least) just by virtue of falling in love. I can't wait for the next book, to see where it all goes from here.

As always with this series, I loved the dynamics between Georgina and her immortal, and mortal friends. I'm also looking forward to seeing what Carter's interest in Georgina is... assuming we ever find out! Like the previous GK books, this had a good mixture of the paranormal mystery, romance, and character interaction and building. The relationship between Seth and Georgina is more bitter-sweet than ever, and I don't see now how it can be a 'happily ever after' between them now. But then, maybe Georgina's new flatmate is going to be the one for her after all? Roll on book #5!

There wasn't really any chance that I wouldn't enjoy this - four loosely linked novella's about fully self-aware AI giant tanks, written by a favourite author. Awesome.

I enjoyed this a great deal - it was well written and the friendship and romantic relationship between the two heroes seemed equally as strong, which I particularly liked. Josh is the more positive gay character of the two (what with Peter being emotionally clueless for most of the book!), and Josh's inner journey regarding his sexuality was really interesting. There was never any doubt, either, about the danger of being in a gay relationship; nor were the prevailing moral and religious opinions of the time - which both Josh and Peter had been brought up to believe in - glossed over.

My only complaint is that I would have liked more - some sections seemed a little sparse, and I'd have liked to see more detail / exposition. However, better that than having to wade through too much wordiness!
