I would have to list this as the worst book I have ever read, or more aptly put, the worst book I ever tried to read and didn't finish. It was the weirdest high school reading assignment I ever had. Thanks. I read Devil in the White City while in Chicago, mainly because I was interested in the history of the Chicago World's Fair, but found myself enjoying the murder-mystery part just as much. So, now I'm reading Thunderstruck. I wasn't sure if I would like is as much, since there isn't an "architectural" component (just a nerdy-physics component), but it's just as good.
