I didn't like this book nearly as much as the first one. It was very dark and although I was happy with the way the book ended, it took a lot of heartache to get there. Very dark and a bit disturbing.

I was frustrated with Ash...that she wasn't willing to tell Leslie what was going on. And I was upset with Rabbit, doing the Ink Exchange to begin with - although I realize as part of the Dark Court, he didn't really have a choice. Although that's what a lot of this book is about - choices.

I'm going to read book 3 and see if things get better.
