about this author
Although born in Kent and largely brought up in London, Anna is a bit of a wild Celt being of Irish, Scottish and Welsh extraction. During her childhood, she spent many unconventional yet magical school holidays travelling around Eastern Europe and some off the map destinations in a battered old car and on a shoe string with her mother, older sister, Cecilia, and her inspiring maiden teacher aunts, Minny and Della. It is these experiences that have led to her life long love of travel and adventure. After leaving school, Anna studied English Literature and Classics at Leeds University before joining the national charity, Help the Aged, as a graduate trainee. Promoted to senior press officer, she organised many major fundraising and gala even...more

"A fabulous book. Interestingly The London Eye Mystery was pipped to the post by Haddon, a book which also skillfully handles the Asperger's syndrome theme. I loved both. Ingeniously constructed with strong and persuasive voices.

"This book was banned from our school library but I got hold ofa copy aged 14 anyway. I became a D H Lawrence fan. I re read this classic a year back. It is still a fantastic book, less shocking but still as disturbing about human nature.

Hi Letitia,
Thank you so much for your message. Well the bummer is that aside from bookshops throughout UK and Spain, the book can only be purchased on amazon.co.uk. Actually I think my first book, A lizard in my Luggage, is now available on amazon.com I really appreciate your kind thoughts.
Warmest, Anna
Anna, your book looks spectacular! Since I have lived in both the UK and Spain, I'm sure I would find it interesting. Where is it available in the US?
That's really great-appreciate it. I have a book tower of Pisa by my bed so when I'm over the next book promo next week, I must get to grips with it!
