The topics range from how we remember, to how we sense to how we become self. The controversies of the science discussed are often ignored, but that isn't really the point. I spent an afternoon reading through the entire book and already feel more comfortable describing the effects that adjustments to shutter speed, aperture and ISO will have on resulting photographs.
