Fallen angel aka demon Kiriel steals a body just a bit ahead of its "time". He just couldn't resist breaking the rules. So he chooses the body of teen-aged boy Shaun seconds before his likely demise. Funny and irreverent.... Kiriel experiences 'life' in a whole new way.
"I felt Shaun's mouth stretching, and lifted his hand to touch his face. His fingers encountered small, squarish hard things. Teeth. I was grinning! That was wonderful, too-facial muscles reflecting emotions... what an exquisite world this was!"
And he goes on to experience, or almost experience, some of the same things a boy of this age fantasizes about. A little tweak here, a little tweak there, he thinks he hasn't made too many changes, and after all, weren't they improvements?
I wouldn't suggest this book to youth who might be easily offended or grossed out by 'boy thoughts', but I would have to say I found it pretty entertaining. ]]>
