Fabulous book! I really enjoy Orsons style of writing, it catches my attention and sucks me in so quickly. It captures the feeling of being inside a persons head so well...I loved it. Great deep thinking book, I want to read it again to get the deepe ...more

Could have enjoyed it more If i delved more into it...I did like the idea of Alan Patons idea of fear and loving the land. Will probably re-read when I have more time on my hands. Interesting writing style.

About the same as Emerson, only different writing style. Emerson likes to talk in circles and dancing around his subjects. Thoreau is quick and to the point. Easier to read, and more great ideas
