Surprisingly clearly well written for a conspiracy book. Basically, the author limits to enumerate a series of possibly German-developed technology based on de-classified US reports, never elaborating too much on each case (the purpose of the book is to provide hints for further investigation).
In being eager to provide proofs of the German advancement in many fields, the author contradicts himself, as the case of a nuclear test reportedly witnessed by an Italian government member in 44, on the Ruegen Island, whereas on another report he mentions since Germany was not very advanced in nuclear technology in 44, it decided to explore other alternatives.

The author starts by picking sci-fi technology from Star Wars, Star Trek, etc and figuring how soon humankind will have access to them, based on the actual knowledge on physics. He goes on to classify them into 3 classes of impossibilities (I - understandable through the current physic theories, therefore achievable in a century or two; II - on the verge of our currently knowledge of physics, so achievable in centuries or millenia and finally III - imply a rewriting of the current known law of physics).

At first I wasn't too enthusiastic with the explanations provided with force fields, invisibility and phasers but when he jumps into physics that involve our Universes and knowledge of space and time...woosh! Great reading on explanations about how the Universe began, what was before, what's beyond it; the possibility of multiple Universes; how time travel might be accomplished and the faster-than-light concept. All explained clearly for someone without previous knowledge on the matter.
PS. Kiwis are from New Zealand, not Australia.
PPS. First book read on Kindle: device approved.

The author collects a series of bizarre stories about frauds, hoaxes and urban myths on several topics from the food industry, 419 scams, death itself to publicity, eBay or Business. One of my favorites was Politics (wonder why), particularly about the candidate that wanted to relocate Paris to the countryside so that its residents could enjoy fresher air. Very fun to read!

One of those books with a limited lifespan. Split by categories, you get the 'Best of' (some categories are a bit silly). Found some nice surprises in there.
It will be fun, in twenty years time, to look back at this.
