This book, which follows Chris McCandless, aka Alexander Supertramp from his college graduation, through his multi-year travels hitchhiking across the United States, and then to is death in Alaska. The book offered an interesting look into this difficult to understand person. Most people would look at his life as having been a waste and would question his motivation. Krakauer does an excellent job humanizing him. ]]>
