So much fun and such great writing. Makes me want to read more novels in which a poet is the main character. Loved all of it, was like a great poetry class taught by a very fun complex character with great insights. Love Baker's style and approach. Want to read all his work. ]]>
He is a great writer and I enjoy each of his books for different reasons. I would get up each morning, like his character and read a chapter as the charater lit a match and contemplated life. It's a short, rich novel of reflection with a simple but moving construct. I plan to read it again and it's on my bookshelf waiting... ]]>

There is a beautiful description of music in the introdcution. I was really moved and read it to George as he was getting ready. She is a very gifted and insightful writer and a great scholar. I'm really looking forward to every chapter in this book! ]]>
