This was a great story, and Neil Gaiman does a great job as the reader. I found the characters shallow and ridiculous, and the story was pretty one-dimensional. It was hard to put down though. It was compelling in the way that a traffic accident is compelling -- you don't really want to see, but you can't help but look.
