Much of this book takes place at a ficticious place on the Northern California coast in an area called Dolphin Point where some mysterious things happen inside and around a lighthouse which is located there. Mable is an amateur detective again in this novel and she is accompanied by her husband, Fred. The story begins in the Gold Country of the Sierra Nevada foothills, where Mable and Fred live, and moves to the coast and then to the redwoods further north and then to Texas and across the border into Mexico with much excitement, humor, mystery, adventure, and good food along the way. ]]>
Since I have suffered from vasculitis for 16 years I found this book to be very good and a good book for caregivers to read so that they might get a better sense of what those people with vasculitis really go through. ]]>
