I am 100 pages in after devouring the first book. I am having a hard time, perhaps missing Edward as much as Bella is. I would be lying if I didn't admit to skimming future pages to see if he will reappear. While the pain Bella is experiencing right now is palpable, I am anxious to continue reading as I know Meyer will throw lots of twists and turns in the pages to come.

Didn't even take me 24 hours - taking very few breaks, to finish this book. I enjoyed it and the new plot presented by Meyers are she takes Edward and the Cullens away, replaces them with warewolves and then reintroduces them.

I wasn't sure what I would think of this but I absolutely ate it up! I was sad to see it end. I too, stayed up into the wee hours because I "just needed to find out what happened in the next chapter." Meyer has a gift for keeping you going by making the end of each chapter intriguing in a way that keeps you going.

I can totally see why my students are all so into this book - tho I like to think I enjoyed it on a more mature level. Ha.

I'm onto the second book, hope I like it too. Right now I am missing Edward. ]]>
