I also just loved the Masterpiece Theater presentations of the 70's and 80's, especially Upstairs Downstairs and I, Claudius. There were so many!

My daughter and I just finished watching the BBC 4-part series, Wives and Daughters (by Elizabeth Gaskell). I had never heard of it, but a co-worker gave me the VHS 4-parter for me to watch during Thanksgiving break; she told me I would like it due to my love for Jane Austen. My daughter and I just loved it!
