I read this book prior to bringing my puppy home because I've learned great tips from Milan's hit-TV show, "The Dog Whisperer." Although Milan does offer helpful information about relating to dogs, it's buried under a great deal of autobiographical material, some of which is blatantly self-promotional. While I do admire Milan for the achievements he's made since moving to the United States, I wasn't interested in hearing about his lifetime achievements in this book. Rather, I wanted to learn more about becoming a strong pack leader. ]]>
