This is a tightly-paced, well written techno-thriller. Coyle's background as a real-world tanker shows in the realistic feel of the dialogue, equipment and the overall "believability". Whereas Tom Clancy does the hardware first and then struggles to make the characters interesting, these authors give us people that we can care about and thrusts them into interesting situations.

This book is the 3rd in a series built around a PMC (Private Military Contractor) called Strategic Solutions, Inc. which provides military services for various entities world-wide. In short, their operators are where "the rubber meets the road". Deniability is what they really offer to their clients.

In a nutshell, this story involves a contract between SSI and Israel to train Druze militia in Lebanon in an attempt to counter Hezbollah's attempts to expand their influence in this tortured part of the world. The wild card in the deck is that Iran is going to furnish a couple of "backpack nukes" to smuggle inside Israel.

This is well written and qualifies as a page turner!
